Philippians 3:13-14
"But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
One important thing we should do. Forget our past, our possessions, our status and our shortcomings we should strain forward toward our goal to serve the Lord today so that we can be with him tomorrow and forever!
Paul begins this letter with joy and continues to talk about through out it. Joy is one of the things that helps us forget what is behind and helps us to focus on what lies ahead!
So today choose to take up Joy and strive towards the goal for which God has called you! Your purpose is to bring honor and glory to the Lord through a life of joy- having been saved by grace through which you will inherit the kingdom God!
